New Hires at MCC

The MCC Operations board is very pleased to announce the hiring of following three candidates;
 
1. Edreace Purmul as the Center Director of MCC: Edreace will be managing the day to day administrative activities and programs at MCC. Until recently Edreace was the Center Director at MAS and brings with him valuable experience of running an Islamic Center/masjid. Edreace will be the face of MCC and the go to person for any initial contact. Edreace is fluent in Farsi and English. Edreace has started effective July 5th, 2010.
 
2. Hafiz Saifuddin Sabar as the Deputy Imam of MCC: Saifuddin Mashallah is a Hafiz and will be leading the daily prayers, teaching Quran classes and leading Taraweeh prayers. Additionally Hafiz Saifuddin will be leading one or more Juma Salaat per month. Hafiz Saifuddin has studied basic Islamic Jurisprudence and is an SDSU Mechanical Engineering student. Hafiz Saifuddin is fluent in Arabic, English and Farsi. Inshallah Hafiz Saifuddin will start when MCC opens up in August 2010.
 
Last but not least...
3. Sheikh Taha Hassane as the Part Time Religious Director of MCC: Sheikh Taha does not need any introduction; he is a well known Sheikh and scholar not only in San Diego, but all over Southern CA and the US. Sheikh Taha has agreed to guide MCC at this critical juncture; he will lead one Juma Salaat per month, will have one day per week lecture and hold office hours at MCC. Sheikh Taha will continue to be the full time imam of ICSD. Inshallah Sheikh Taha will start when MCC opens up in August 2010.
