Assalaam-Elykum,
 
The whole community has come a long way and finally the dream is about to come true; we ask everyone to please bear with us during these last few weeks, show patience and forgive any shortcomings.
 
As we announced after last Juma salaat, construction of the new building is in now in its final stages; with city inspections continuing and Inshallah us getting ready for the grand opening on Aug 8th.
 
The above date is contingent upon passing all required inspections and upon successfully obtaining the ‘occupancy permit’.
 
In order for the inspections to go smoothly, the contractor has to remove all temporary structures that were being used during the construction phase – this includes the trailer that was used for Juma salaat.
 
Inshallah we will continue to perform the Juma Salaats at the MCC premises on the ground in front of the building, starting this Friday July 16th.
 
Allhamdollilah we will enjoy San Diego's beautiful weather, pray Juma under the shades of canopies and enjoy ‘spiritually wonderful’ time under the sun. Lunch will be available for purchase.
 
We would like to request the following:
1)      There will be portable toilets/hand wash station for emergency use only. We encourage everyone to please make wadu/ ablution before coming to MCC for Juma Salaat.
2)     Bring extra canopies to share with the community; volunteer in setup/tear down.
3)     Bring water bottles to beat the heat.
4)    Be good neighbors – keep the noise level to a minimum and respect privacy of our neighbors. These are traits of good Muslims.
5)     Due to traffic safety concerns, HOA has reminded us to use only the following two streets off of Camino Del Sur
a.       VIA AZUL, right on Via Inez, left on Via Fiesta; or
b.       LAZANJA DRIVE, curve to left, right on Via Fiesta
