Uzma Kazi was born and raised in Kuwait. Despite being from Pakistan she attended Arabic medium schools all the way through high school and as a result she is native-fluent in Arabic. She has completed an associate degree in computer studies after which she worked for an international company in Kuwait primarily translating from Arabic to English for the office of the company President. She is currently taking courses at Miramar College towards a degree program. Over the past year Uzma has volunteered as a teacher and helped with other activities at the AlManar School. She continues to be actively involved in organizing and assisting in many MCC events. She teaches Arabic to her 2 daughters at home and is excited at the opportunity to teach and enlighten other children in the community.  We are very excited to have her in our team this year.
