Thana Awad is a  teacher at the Almanar Modern School for a second year. Thana graduated from the Baghdad University-College of Management and Economy with a B.S. degree in Management. Upon conclusion of her B.S. degree Thana pursued postgraduate studies at the Baghdad University Nursing School . Thana has been very active in the community and has volunteered and assisted teachers for over 3 years in the San Diego public School system. It is Thana desire to help in the community and her love of children that has inspired her to become a teacher at the School. Thana is extremely excited and enthusiastic and the kids love her so much.
